The Seoul Scholarship Foundation is pleased to announce the recruitment of outstanding international talents for Master’s programs in Science and Engineering (STEM) at major universities in Seoul. We look forward to receiving applications from talented individuals worldwide who will lead the future industries.

1. Program Overview

Target: International students planning to enroll in a STEM Master's program at one of the 9 participating universities in Seoul.

Number of Scholars: Approximately 30 students.

Support Period: Up to 2 years (Renewable every semester based on academic performance).

Scholarship Benefits:

Tuition: Full coverage of admission and tuition fees.

Stipend: Academic incentive of KRW 1,000,000 per month.

Others: Health insurance premiums and one-way entry airfare (Economy class).

2. Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

Nationality: Non-Korean nationals (Both applicant and parents must not hold Korean nationality).

Age: Under 40 years of age (Born on or after January 1, 1986).

Education: Must have earned or be expected to earn a Bachelor’s degree by August 31, 2026.

Academic Performance: Score of 80/100 or higher, or meet the CGPA threshold (e.g., 2.64/4.0, 2.91/4.5, etc.).

3. Participating Universities (9)

Konkuk University, Kyung Hee University, Korea University, Sogang University, Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech), Seoul National University, University of Seoul, Sungkyunkwan University, Soongsil University.

4. Application Period and Method

Both online and postal submissions must be completed to be considered for selection.

5. Important Document Notes

Language: All documents must be written in English or Korean.

Originals: Only documents issued after July 1, 2025, are accepted. All postal submissions must be original copies.

Apostille: Transcripts, graduation certificates, and nationality verification documents must have an Apostille confirmation or Consular verification.

Note: Submitted documents will not be returned.

University-Specific Review (2nd Review): April – June 2026

Final Result Announcement: July 2026
